Car lockout service
Keys locked in the car? Call (386) 853-3587. We open cars, trucks, vans and RVs without scratching the paint or breaking a window.
Call 911 first. In Florida heat a car gets dangerous fast. Then call us.
How we open a locked car
We use an air wedge to make a small gap at the top of the door and a long reach tool to hit the unlock button or pull the handle. That’s what the photo shows, a blue wedge and a reach tool working together.
No slim jims in modern doors, those can snag wiring and airbag parts. Done right, nothing gets bent or scratched.
Lockouts we handle
Cars and SUVs
Keys on the seat, in the ignition or in the trunk.
Pickup trucks
Including toolboxes and cab doors.
RVs and campers
Entry doors and storage bays.
Lost key lockouts
If the key's gone too, we make a new one.
If the key's gone too
Sometimes the car is locked and the key is nowhere, dropped at the beach, left at work, or lost on a trail. In that case we open the car and make a new key on site, cut and programmed so you can drive away instead of calling a tow.
Kids or pets locked inside
If a child or a pet is locked in the car, call 911 first. They come fast and they won’t wait for anyone. Then call us at (386) 853-3587 and we’ll head out too. On a hot day in Florida every minute counts so don’t wait to see if the door opens on its own.
- Common questions
Car lockout questions
Will opening my car damage it?
No. Air wedges and reach tools are made for this and don’t leave marks when they’re used right.
How long does it take?
Most cars open in a few minutes once we arrive.
What if my keys are locked in the trunk?
We open the car first, then use the trunk release inside. If there isn’t one we’ll find another way in.
Do you need proof it's my car?
Yes. Registration or ID that matches. It protects you too.
How much does a car lockout cost?
From $95. You’ll get the price on the phone before we come out.
