Old Ormond and new Ormond

Ormond Beach calls itself the birthplace of speed, after the early car races on the beach. The older part of town is around Granada Blvd and the Halifax River, near the Casements, with established homes on shady streets.

Beachside runs along A1A with houses and condos. West of I-95 you get the bigger, newer neighborhoods like Hunter’s Ridge and Breakaway Trails, plus Tomoka State Park and the Ormond Scenic Loop up north.

Older homes tend to need repairs and rekeys on hardware that’s been there a while. Newer ones get more keypad and smart lock work.

Beachside and mainland Ormond

Beachside

Houses and condos along A1A and the streets off it. Salt air means more hardware replacements, and seasonal owners ask for keypads a lot.

Mainland

Granada Blvd neighborhoods, the riverfront and the larger subdivisions west of I-95. Rekeys after a move and smart lock installs are the big ones here.

Ormond Beach calls

Out west in Ormond

West of I-95 the city spreads out into bigger subdivisions, gated streets and a few horse properties toward the county line. Homes out here are newer, so most calls are rekeys after a sale, keypads and smart locks and the odd garage entry door that never latched right from day one.

Closer to the river and around Tomoka State Park it’s older homes with older hardware. Lots of them still have the original knobs and a deadbolt that’s been painted over a few times. A new deadbolt and a rekey on the rest is usually the right call there.

We cover Ormond-by-the-Sea, Holly Hill, Daytona Beach and Palm Coast too, along with the rest of the county.
