A locksmith that knows the sections
Palm Coast was planned in sections, and anybody who lives here knows the street names run alphabetical inside each one. Tell us you’re in the P-section or off Belle Terre and we already have a good idea where we’re headed.
Palm Harbor has the saltwater canals and a lot of older homes from the ’70s and ’80s. Pine Lakes, Indian Trails, Seminole Woods and Matanzas Woods filled in later. Grand Haven and Palm Coast Plantation have their own gates and their own rules about who gets in. Town Center and European Village are where a lot of the newer apartments and shops are.
Getting around is mostly Palm Coast Parkway, Belle Terre Parkway, Old Kings Road and I-95 so most addresses in the city are a short drive from the shop.

What we do in Palm Coast most
- Getting there
Minutes from most of Palm Coast
The shop is on the Hammock side of the Intracoastal, so we cross over on Palm Coast Parkway and we’re into the middle of town right away. From there Belle Terre and Old Kings Road reach most sections without getting on I-95 at all.
The far ends take a little longer. Seminole Woods and the neighborhoods out past US-1 to the west, Matanzas Woods up north near the county line. Tell us the section and the street and we’ll give you a straight answer on timing.
Snowbirds, rentals and second homes
A lot of Palm Coast homes sit empty part of the year.
If you're away for the summer
A keypad deadbolt means a neighbor, a pool guy or a pest control tech can get in with their own code and you can delete it when they’re done. No key under the mat.
If you rent it out
Rekey between long-term tenants. For short-term rentals, a keypad with a fresh code per guest saves a lot of trouble with lost keys.
Locks that suit Palm Coast homes
Canal homes in Palm Harbor
Homes on the saltwater canals get the same salt exposure as the beach, just from the back yard. Rear doors and sliders facing the water wear out first. Brass or stainless hardware with a good finish lasts a lot longer than the cheapest boxed sets.
Newer sections
In the newer sections a lot of homes came with builder-grade locks. They work, but rekeying them after you buy is the first thing to do and a keypad on the garage entry door is a popular second.
